The physical benefits of regular physical activity, particularly aerobic exercise, are now widely established.

According to a study of 185 college students, short-term daily aerobic activity was found to be more effective in promoting mental health than cognitive interventions. It is essential that the activity is carried out below the anaerobic threshold to maximize the benefits without causing additional stress.

It has been found that short-term (more or less daily) aerobic training, with low to moderate intensity, may be even more effective in promoting mental health and well-being than cognitive interventions.
