30-Day Yoga Challenge: What is it?

Yoga is a discipline of oriental origin that, through the creation of different positions and relaxation and breathing techniques, aims to achieve physical and psychological well-being. Within it there are several variants, which differ in the place where they were born and the purposes they propose.

Sometimes those who have never practiced Yoga but would like to start find themselves in the condition of not knowing where to start and above all which type to choose.

A fun way try this new discipline could be to participate in the 30-Day Yoga Challenge.

The mission of this course is to offer as broad an overview as possible of the discipline, trying to make it perceived as inclusive and suitable for everyone, regardless of age, size, ability, experience or time availability. To practice Yoga, in fact, it is not necessary to have a specific physicality or invest a lot of time, since the benefits for the brain and body can be evident even with a few minutes a day of exercise.

Yoga is also particularly suitable during menopause.

How the 30-Day Yoga Challenge works

As the name suggests, the 30-Day Yoga Challenge lasts 30 days.

Each day involves the creation of a single yoga pose, to be held for a time ranging from 30 to 60 seconds. Each exercise should be repeated at least twice throughout the day and while performing it it is essential to keep your yoga breathing under control, trying to inhale and exhale evenly and deeply through the nose.

Yoga is not only a physical discipline but also a mental one, where concentration and meditation play a fundamental role, so the choice of the moment in which to practice it is fundamental, even if there is no predetermined one.

Ideally, if you have this possibility, you would do it when you feel the need to take a break all to yourself.
